Don Henley's solo career was the most commercially and artistically successful of all the Eagles. After the '70s supergroup broke up in 1982, Henley released I Can't Stand Still, which went gold with the help of the popular single, "Dirty Laundry."
Building the Perfect Beast followed in 1984 and contained the Top 10 Hits "Boys of Summer" and "All She Wants to Do is Dance." "Sunset Grill" and "Not Enough Love in the World" also appeared in the Top 40, securing a spot on the charts for Henley for well over a year.
Henley's commercial success continued with his third release, End of the Innocence (1989). The album was critically acclaimed for singles like "New York Minute," "The End of the Innocence," "The Heart of the Matter" and "The Last Worthless Evening."
Henley rejoined the Eagles for their 1994 reunion tour and appeared on MTV's "Unplugged." Their live album Hell Freezes Over was a major success, selling more than five million copies. Henley resumed his solo career in 1995.
The Eagles latest album released in 2007 called "The Road Out of Eden" was released and has received great reviews. That album features Don Henley singing solo and with the full Eagles group.
